international humanitarian law training scientific institution is an independent legal personality, non-governmental, non-profit organization, training and scientific, the main headquarters is located in the city of Tripoli – Libya, based in the city of Tripoli, the Center was established in 2016 to be one of the scientific institutions working on the consolidation of human rights and to ensure the application of the local and international laws regarding human rights; the Center also works to undertake awareness-raising, education, development and consultancy in the field of work.
The very core of the Center is to expand knowledge of the provisions of international humanitarian law and to disseminating this knowledge in all parts of Libya in the regional states and the surrounding area.
The Center has the task of education, training and development and provide consultancy in the areas of international humanitarian law, it may provide these services and any other scientific service in the implementation of international humanitarian law to individuals or corporate bodies.

The studies and research
The specialized agencies to undertake studies and research in the field of international humanitarian law and related.
The establishment of a specialized library
The establishment of a specialized library which is equipped with modern technical devices and follow up the developments of international humanitarian law and the collection of relevant data and information and documentation.
The dialog
Encourage dialog and exchange of expertise and experiences in the field of international humanitarian law and humanitarian action.
Issuing books
The issuance of periodic and other books and publications for the field of work of the Center.
Meetings and conferences
Organization of meetings and conferences at the national, regional and international experts and specialists and workers in the fields of humanity.
Promote research and studies
The attribution of scholarships and prizes to promote research and specialized studies in the field of international humanitarian law.
Training Courses
The organization of training courses and seminars for international humanitarian law and other related areas such as human rights, the rights of refugees and humanitarian action.
Cooperation and coordination
Cooperation and coordination with the official and private institutions related to international humanitarian law and humanitarian action, including military and civilian academic institutions at the national, regional and international levels; in order to carry out joint programs and activities consistent with the goals of the Center.
