International Humanitarian Law Center and Ta’sil Foundation Sign a Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Cooperation
The International Humanitarian Law Center (IHLC) and Ta’sil Foundation for Research, Training and Consultancy signed today in Benghazi a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening joint cooperation in the fields of human rights, international humanitarian law, scientific research, training, and awareness-raising.
The International Humanitarian Law Center was represented by Mr. Khattab Khaled Khattab, President of the Center, while Dr. Moataz Abdulwahab Al-Ajoul, President of Ta’sil Foundation, represented the Foundation.
The Memorandum provides for cooperation in organizing conferences, seminars, and workshops; preparing joint studies and research; implementing training and awareness-raising programs; exchanging expertise and consultancy services; publishing scientific materials; and developing joint initiatives and projects.
Both parties emphasized the importance of this partnership in supporting scientific research, promoting a culture of human rights and international humanitarian law, building the capacities of researchers, activists, and civil society organizations, and strengthening the rule of law and institutional governance.
The signing of the Memorandum comes within the framework of the International Humanitarian Law Center’s commitment to expanding its network of partnerships with academic, research, and training institutions, thereby contributing to the development of legal and human rights work and enhancing public awareness in Libya.
